Our Lady of Guadalupe Vase

This wonderful Our Lady of Guadalupe vase was created by Mayolica Santa Rosa. It features a very detailed hand painted Our Lady of Guadalupe on one side and on the other side a hand painted M. 

According to lore, it was a winter’s day in 1531 when the Virgin Mary first appeared to Juan Diego, a peasant, as he was crossing a hillside near present-day Mexico City. She appeared as a dark-skinned woman who spoke Nahuatl, Juan Diego’s native language. 

Owning this piece of folk art would be a beautiful piece to cherish for it's lifetime that can be passed down to generation to generation.
